Work Vehicles

Types of Fleet Vehicles We Buy and Sell

At Easterns Automotive, we primarily buy and sell light-duty work trucks, all types of commercial vans and a whole host of traditional commuter vehicles that might be necessary for business fleets.

We have certain internal quality and reliability standards that set us apart from other use vehicle dealerships. As a result, most of our vehicles, including a diverse selection of commercial trucks and vans, tend to be on the newer, lightly used side of the pre-owned vehicle spectrum.

Delivery and Logistics Vehicles

Delivery and logistics companies require a fleet of vehicles to transport goods from one location to another. This usually includes a variety of trucks (including many light-duty trucks) and vans.

Construction and Contracting Vehicles

Construction and contracting companies often have a need for vehicles to transport equipment, supplies and workers to and from job sites. This can include pickup trucks, cargo vans and larger flatbed trucks for transporting heavy equipment.

Service Business Vehicles

Service businesses such as HVAC companies, plumbing companies and electrical contractors may require a fleet of vehicles to travel to homes or businesses to provide services. This can include cargo vans or larger trucks with custom storage compartments to transport tools and equipment.

Public Utility Vehicles

Public utilities and the various independent authorities that run them (like DC water, the privately operated Washington Gas and Potomac Electric Power Company) require a literal fleet of vehicles to service and maintain their infrastructure and meet the needs of customers who experience power outages, water main issues, internet outages, natural gas interruptions, etc. This can include bucket trucks for repairing power lines or large service trucks for maintaining water mains.

Government Agency Vehicles

Government agencies such as police and fire departments, parks and recreation departments and public works departments may all require a fleet of vehicles to provide necessary maintenance services and carry out their many other duties. This can include police cars, fire trucks and maintenance vehicles for parks and roads.

Transportation Vans

From schools and churches to various transit providers (airport transportation, public transit for people with limited mobility, etc.), there’s a significant need for specialized people transport that’s smaller than a traditional city bus but larger than a basic commuter vehicle of SUV. Vans are usually the best option.
